Bugatti does in fact has a competitor for Production car land speed record. Bugatti Meet The SSC Ultimate Aero. Shelby Super Cars has no relation to the Shelby auto maker; the engine rockets the Ultimate Aero to 60 mph at just a mere 2.78 seconds and sprints a quarter-mile in just 9.90 seconds at 144 mph. The speedometer clocks at 273 mph, pretty fast huh? For only half the price you can smoke the overweighed Bugatti Veyron on a track. Sorry Bugatti but I would love to see you top this speed.
2013 will be the last time Maybach will be born from the assembly line. Unfortunately Maybach haven’t made target sales and came to the conclusion that they have fallen in last place when it comes to its competitors Rolls Royce and Bentley. The President of Mercedez Benz (Parent company of Maybach) has decided to drop the production Maybachs and focus more on reinventing the S-Class which in my opinion is somewhat similar to the Maybach 57, minus the fridge. In my opinion I Believe Maybach fell back within the compitition for the reason that 57’s and 62’s appears as a plain car and does not really stand out when you park it next to high end luxury cars such as Aston Martins, Rolls Royces, and Bentleys. Rest in peace Maybach.
